Rainbow Pines Tourist Park
is situated on the shores of beautiful Lake Eucumbene at Old
Adaminaby, in the Snowy Mountains of NSW.
Lake Eucumbene is the
largest man-made lake in the southern hemisphere and is part of
the Snowy Mountains Hydro-electric scheme. Completed in May
1958, the lake has a shore line of approximately 150 miles or
240 km and stores about nine times the water in Sydney Harbour.
Lake Eucumbene is teeming
with both Rainbow and Brown Trout, and is arguably one of the
most famous trout fishing lakes in Australia.
Rainbow Pines Tourist Park is also
a convenient place to stay if you're planning to do a bit of
winter skiing or snow play at the nearby Selwyn Snowfields (a
comfortable 40minutes drive away).
Rainbow Pines is a tourist
haven, with breathtaking scenery and an emphasis on family
holiday enjoyment. Come and visit Rainbow Pines
Tourist Park today!
