Located in picturesque surrounds of Gold Creek Village lies one of the Gungahlin Regions real treasures - The Federation Tavern and Function Centre.

From the moment you walk into the Tavern you'll be impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere.  Your hosts Bob and Suzzie have operated the Tavern and Function Centre for 7 years, and it's obvious they put their heart and soul into making sure your visit is a pleasant one.

The Federation Tavern is a great place to relax with family and friends.  Have a cold drink and a bite to eat or test your skill on the pool table or card machine.  While there, check out some of the sporting memorabilia which includes a signed and framed St.George Dragons Shirt!

The Federation Function Centre (located upstairs) is the perfect place to celebrate anything.  Comfortably seating 80 guests, the Function Centre has a fully functioning bar, bathroom facilities and access to the balcony for those special photos looking over the beautiful Village.

One of our favourite things to do in the Gungahlin Region is riding bikes with the family.  Safe bike paths abound, making a Sunday afternoon ride around the lake, or down to Gold Creek Village a very pleasant experience.

Whenever we ride down to Gold Creek Village we always call into the Federation Tavern and Function Centre.  The kids grab a coke and some chips, mum a lemonade and Dad a well deserved cold beer!  We always find the Federation Tavern and Function Centre warm and inviting (especially in winter!).  Bob and Suzzie are always friendly and are especially good with the kids - never complaining even when our three year old knocks his coke everywhere!

In the late afternoon sun there's nothing better than sitting outside in the Federation Tavern's Beer Garden, a cool drink in hand, watching the world go by.  Oh, and the music they play is a real treat, all the old country favourites.

Sometimes it's hard for Dad to leave the Federation Tavern and Function Centre and ride back home -  Oh well, there's always next time!
