Ginninderra Village Markets

One of the special things about
Canberra is the fact that it's a planned city. Some see this as a
real positive, and are fascinated by the fact that Canberra grew
from little more than a drawing on a piece of paper into the proud,
cosmopolitan capital we see today. Others see this as a negative,
believing Canberra has no real history and therefore no soul! They
feel the city is too modern and too planned. These people obviously
haven't visited Ginninderra Village!
A visit to Ginninderra Village is like
a step back in time. The Village dates back to 1883 - long before
Canberra was a twinkle in Walter Burley Griffins eye.
New to Ginninderra Village is the
monthly Sunday Market. The market is held on the second Sunday
of each month, and runs from 10am to 4pm.
New stallholders welcome.
